Nikita and Anna felt like they were in XIII century during their walking tour on Fortress Island. They even met a “real” medieval knight. Children were impressed by the beauty of the town; they enjoyed a bird’s-eye view of the area from the Tower of Saint Olaf.

Vyborg is one of the oldest towns in Russia. It was founded by the Swedes in 1293. Vyborg Castle is the only one medieval castle in Russia. It was a fortress during Medieval Times; currently it’s a local history museum with different exhibitions. We’d like to introduce Vyborg Castle seen from a child’s eyes.

  There was a walking tour in Vyborg parks on May, 18th 2012. Children visited Red Square, The Square of Vyborg Regiments, and the very famous monument to Moose. During the tour children saw just the small part of town, so we plan to arrange new excursions and discoveries for them. Check new reporting soon…
